The building is a mixture of Gothic and Renaissance styles, which was typical for the conservative Dubrovnik Republic of those times. it is a large rectangular building with an inner courtyard. An open porch communicates with the square in front; another porch opens on the first floor in front, that makes Sponza an ideal Dubrovnik wedding location.

Alice and Michael in September, after theirs Sponza wedding, went for a reception dinner in Dubrovnik Restaurant. Ajsela and Reza embarked with their guests a boat near Sponza and had a ride to Bellevue Hotel party. After the wedding ceremony in Sponza, Mr & Mrs Bushby continued with a refreshment on the island of Lokrum and delicous dinner in Gils on the City Walls.
