Lokrum or Lacroma is an island in the Adriatic Sea, a 10 minutes boat ride from Dubrovnik, Croatia. The Austrian archduke (and short-lived Emperor of Mexico) Maximilian once had a holiday home on the island. A monastery and a botanical garden survive from his era. A Napoleonic fort overlooks the island. Today Lokrum is a Nature Reserve and a Special Forest Vegetation Reserve. It offers unique ambient for your wedding in Croatia.

Boats leave from the port of the old town. May-Oct, 9am-8pm, every 30min, 10min crossing. Café-restaurant on the island, perfect for a wedding lunch.
