Sponza and Karaka Galleon

We are an adventurous couple and knew we would want a destination wedding. We wanted to get married in Dubrovnik because we could see how beautiful, romantic and fairytale it is and we knew that our guests from Canada, Russia and Greece would love to go. The price of a wedding in Dubrovnik is also very reasonable compared to weddings in Canada. We chose the wedding planner Kristina Skvrce from Doyouwed.me

She was great at giving me the information I needed from beginning till the end, responded to my emails very quick. Kristina is very professional, smart and down to earth person, she made the planning process a complete dream. Tell you the truth, I was a little nervous, because I have never been to Dubrovnik or Croatia before. The person from who we have rented our apartment in Dubrovnik knew Kristina very well. What a coincidence! When he told me that Kristina is the best wedding planner in town, I understood I can trust her in everything. I highly recommend Kristina and her team!

We got married on August 7th this year, we held our ceremony in Sponza Palace. Sponza is one of the most beautiful palaces in the City. The flower decoration was gorgeous! We then surprised our guests with a boat cruise. It was the beautiful old Karaka boat. All of our 35 guests absolutely loved the cruise. Thanks to Veronica (photographer) for taking a lot of amazing panoramic photos on the boat, city walls and the whole long day. It was hard work at 36 degrees!!

We had a wedding reception on the Palm Terrace at Excelsior hotel. Flower decoration and all set up was gorgeous, musicians were amazing, thanks a lot to Teo’s band, food was delicious and wine was perfect. Thanks to Rudi for helping us to choose the wine. He is definitely the wine expert.
It truly was the most amazing day for me and my husband, our family and friends. Kristina and her team have done fabulous job!
