Classy wedding reception in Sponza
At some certain moment later in the evening while the last course was served there was a requirement from the guests to open the main door of Sponza in order to get some fresh air. I opened the door and faced the outside world: summer night on Stradun and then I thought: "wow this Sponza wedding reception must have been the classiest choice this year, so centrally, right in the heart of the Old Town, yet so intimate and so Dubrovnik.
Itinerary
St. Ignatius Church wedding, nicely decorated, with music. Local folk musicians that escorted the couple and their guests to the Sponza Palace, making a nice overture to the beautiful evening event. A true jewel wedding. It's worth mentioning that this nice wedding was a boat cruise stop for Ashley, Jerry and their guests. With a nice big boat that was hired for a week they've had an excellent journey along Croatian coast and Islands.
Catering Lineup
Catering services shines always great no matter if we're celebrating in a villa, on a fort or some place else, but this time I've had an impression of something even over 5*. Kitchen was lead by great chef Marko, while the reception manager role was completed in a superb way by Mario. Waiters were quick and sharp (in a positive sense, :) in their service. Using an improvised kitchen (well hidden in Sponza) food was delivered at its top condition, exactly as if we were seating on a gourmet restaurant terrace.
